Welcome...
We welcome you to our website and hope that you discover more about the best kept secret of Lamar University’s student organizations, Circle K International.
About CKI
Circle K International is the world’s largest collegiate organization dedicated to service and leadership development. CKI is a co-ed organization through which students can find a means of responsible student active in our community, and a more active involvement in life on campus. As our chapter perceives the needs of the campus and community, we develop hands on activities to address these issues. This will allow our members to gain important skills, valuable experience, and personal initiative.
CKI allows students to make long lasting friendships, accomplish goals, and to simply have a good time. CKI is a member of the Kiwanis Family and students have the opportunity to make important networking contacts that will give them a head start on the job market once they’ve graduated from college.
Our weekly meetings and club activities are designed to be educational, interesting, and allow for practical experience in the area of leadership development.
College is more than scholarship, it’s good times, getting to know others, finding out who we are… trying to make a meaningful contribution in the world that awaits us. It’s more then books, lectures, and a walk to the parking lot,
We invite you to learn more about CKI and give yourself an opportunity to make a real difference. CKI IS THE TOTAL COLLLEGE EXPERIENCE!
